Apologies

Sorry about the lack of posting these last couple of weeks. Work has been crazy and I'll be out part of next week as well.

One things for certain, next month can't pass by quickly enough. I don't believe I've ever been so ready to age.

Go Dawgs!

Here's the Deal

Here's what I'm looking at this week. Mayhem at work, my roof needs to be replaced at home, and with the exception of the Gym Dawgs, UGA news is in a bit of a lull.

So no promises this week but just to save you some time:

"Unless all Hell breaks loose and I've got to throw my 2 cents into the ring, I wouldn't be holding my breath for oodles of content from Blogging Pantsless this week."

-Mackie

I'd love to sit around and be a smartass commentator all day, but when real life calls I gotta answer and right now I'm covered up. So until there's an update, check out my new favorite website.

The Mans Keeping Me Down

Busy Monday, light posting today. So busy I'm working from home so I don't waste time driving. So busy I've got an empty milk jug next to my home office...one guess what it's for. So busy I won't be able to fit in all the great stuff I wanted to write about the Braves sweeping the Nats. It's a little disappointing but until the act of blogging starts covering a mortgage, construction estimating takes priority.

Happy Monday.

I hope everyone had a great Easter.

btw, did you see those black jerseys on G-Day? I'm assuming Coach Richt saw my expired poll to the right and knew to give the people what they want.

The Man's Keeping Me Down

Sorry for the lack of quality posting this week. Work's been busy.

I don't really have much to contribute to the firing of Coach Felton. I like my bandwagons like I like restaurants...partially filled so I know they're worth being in/on. I'll cover Georgia baskeball more when we're winning again with a new coach.

Until then, have a good weekend. I doubt I'll squeeze anything else out before the weekend. We'll catch up on Monday. OUTIE!

The Man's Keeping Me Down

I've got a 5 o'clock deadline to meet. Posting may be light for a Friday but I've got some more movie reviews baking in the oven. So until I get some down time, enjoy this video of the Turtleman.

Happy Friday.

The Man's Keepin' Me Down

Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh...kinda busy today.

Maybe I'll have something later.

UPDATE 11/6/2008:
Yep...still busy. If you gotta have something to read go down the blogroll on the right, I've got a ton of projects to move out the door before I leave tonight. If nothing else I get to do a business meeting in a luxury suite at the Thrashers/Islanders game tonight (photos avail tomorrow). It's all you can eat, all you can drink so I'm either going to be the most charming guy around or the most obnoxious drunk heckler ever...to be honest I'd bank on the latter.

Light Posting Today

Covered up with work and not to mention today is my wife & I's anniversary. Fun stuff to come...just not today.

For the time being, enjoy a little highlight video of my favorite LSU Tiger.

The Man's Keepin' Me Down

Sorry for such spotty posting this week. It's been nuts trying to get these projects out the door this week, but thanks for sticking around regardless. Next week we'll get a few big stories covered before Fat Phil comes to town. When it comes down to making fun of fat guys I've got an endless supply of material so hopefully I'll make it up to you.

Happy Friday, Suckers!

One week +1 day until football starts

Boy, all this work sure does interfere with my social life. I'm driving out to a new job site out in Augusta today so it'll be fairly light posting until I get back late afternoon.

HOWEVER, I have scheduled the Wednesday Wordle to post automatically around 9:00am-ish. So if that shaves at least a little time off your workday until I get back, then my job is done.

Until then, here's a video of people falling down, Yaaaaaaayyy!

The Man's Keepin' Me Down: Mid-west Georgia Edition II

Light posting today. I actually wrote this post at 9:00pm last night and scheduled it to post now because I knew I'd be down in LaGrange, GA most of the day. Unless I get killer heartburn from the Charlie Joseph's hotdogs I plan on downing at lunchtime, I'll try to throw a few things up before the end of the day.

Don't forget to check a few posts below this to join the College Football Pick'em I've got set up. It'll be a lot of fun, at the moment we've got 8 people already and I've shot invites out to all my Facebook friends. I consider my blog to be in the Mid-Major conference of college football blogs. Not completely unknown, but I make the Georgia Sports Blog look like the NFL, when I look at my site tracker. I'm thinking before it starts we'll have around 20 people so it'll be interesting to see who you guys pick in weekly match-ups.

I hope you guys know I really appreciate you checking out the daily crap I vomit up on this site. I try my best to keep it up to date and entertaining, but like today, sometimes duty calls.

Hell, if it payed the bills I'd advertise Billy Mays' crap products to get to make a living doing this, I honestly think it's that much fun. But without seeing that ticker going up, I'd be totally bummed and way less motivated so thanks for checking my blog out!

Have a great weekend!

The Man's Keepin' Me Down!

It'll mostly be light posting the rest of the day. I've got about $2.5 million in contracts sitting in my lap requiring a semi-competent person to review them. If I screw the pooch on this stuff I'll be in a world of hurt.

Anyway, I should have some interesting reads tomorrow as I wrap up the SEC teams reviews from Rivals.com Top 30 rankings. In case you didn't know UGA is ranked 2nd which is just fine by me. Check the link for that info.

I'm also going with my family to Stone Mountain tonight. I expect to tear-up as Elvis' American Trilogy plays while Robert E. Lee breaks his sword in half and the pieces spin around to become the United States...gets me everytime. But I will not hide my patriotism just because my wife laughs at me, if nothing else I'll blame my eyes watering on the spicy chicken from Popeyes I plan to be eating tonight. But I swear the first kid who steps on my blanket chasing after their stupid glow-ring, glow-stick, glow-anything they've been throwing around, I'm going to trip them...and they will cry, because that's how I roll.

The Man's Keepin' Me Down: Mid-west Georgia Edition

I'm making a trip down to LaGrange this morning to check out a job site and meet an old college buddy for lunch. For those who don't know LaGrange is a hot-bed for football recruiting out of the high school system. It is also the home of the oldest non-tax funded college in the state, LaGrange College (since 1831). The college's most notable alumni include the guy who drew Dagwood in the funny papers, a bunch of judges, Clint DeMooney (the guy Big Fish was based on), and Mackalicious the most beloved blogger in all of America. The Panthers also field a Division III football team that has won fewer games than Atlanta's WNBA team (I'm just kidding, I don't really know how many games our WNBA team has won...but it's gotta be more than zero).

I'll figure out something witty to write on the drive to & fro so when I get back I'll have some good posting around 2-ish,

Holla!

The Man's Keepin' Me Down!

Light posting today. I hate it when things that pay take priority over things that are more fun, but don't provide financially. Check back after lunch, I'll have Notre Dame's third jersey up by then.

The Man's Keepin' Me Down!

Light posting today, I'm covered up with projects. I'll try to squeeze something out over lunch if possible.
