Wanna piss off a nerd?

I did a little Photoshop work on this picture and it should (key word, SHOULD) print out perfectly to fit the LANDSCAPE format of a LEGAL size sheet of paper. Just print and hang prominently around your I.T. department and you'll have their second-life panties in a wad all day...you're welcome!

...you might need to do a little bit of "Save Image As" and then print it out, but I just gave it a test run and it worked.

Look-a-likes

I know a lot of people aren't fond of the type of articles like:

"SEC Football Teams as Seinfeld Episodes"

"Mascots as Sex & the City Characters"

"NCAA Headcoaches as Fastfood Restaurants"
(hmmm...not a bad idea, I may run with this ball tomorrow)

...but anyway, I love me some celebrity look-a-likes (as referenced...'chare)

Here is something I found via FOX Sports...I wanted to link it but then you'd have to look at all the unfunny ones also (for Pete's sake we all know John Gruden looks like Chucky already!!1).

So to get around their little "I'm not going to let anyone save the pictures I photoshopped together because I'm a gay" attitude, I just did a few screen captures for your amusement.

The guy who was saved by Ace Ventura and The 'Hoff

Nick Johnson and Roy...the paper warehouse guy.

Big Papi and the mother from Goodtimes...nice!

QB Flacco and Ernie's mustache ride.

...you know what? If I ever get any motivation to be a decent blogger I might decide to crop future image postings...maybe.

Until then, I'm tired like Percy Harvin after the Wonderlic...lots of thinkin' today, brain hurts. I'll be a little less worthless tomorrow and hopefully do something right.

Christmas

Well, I told you guys earlier I'd made out pretty dang good over the course of Christmas. So here, in no particular order (though the best ones seem to stay in the front of my mind) are some of the gifts I got.

#1. A banjo...you're damn right, a banjo!

(also pictured, a Rush 2112 album. WOOT WOOT!!1)

#2. Various reading material.

(you can never be too well informed)

#3. UGA grill cover and a UGA Grill Topper!

(now all my wieners shall be branded with "Georgia"...all of them)

#4. Underwear
(not pictured)
...funny story, I figured I wouldn't take a picture of the underwear I was given and look online for a skimpy man-thong or something to be funny. Little did I know if you go to google and do an image search for "man thong"...you don't get a picture of underwear laying out on the counter, you get male models...Ugh.

#5. Premium Booze

(...technically I purchased the 1792 for myself to look good with gift #6)

#6. Denture-shaped ice cube trays.

(Yep, these are just as cool as they sound. Also, looks badass in a lowball glass with 1792 and a splash of lemon concentrate)

#7. My sister back home...with gifts!

This flag actually flew in Iraq, how cool is that?!? She also gave me one of those middle-eastern lamps like from Aladdin but there wasn't a genie in it.

#8. A home office

delivered next Tuesday, should look like this.

#9. Defensive Pressure

I believe a thank you is in order for Coach Martinez. But don't be surprised if I'm looking for this again in the Fall, deliver the goods or you're back on my $#!t list.

Happy New Year to you, as of right now Ole Miss is pillaging all of Coach Leach's booty. That would be a great start to 2009 for the SEC. Regardless of what Quinton at Georgia Sports Blog thinks, I always cheer for the SEC. Don't get me wrong, I hate Florida as much as the next guy but I do believe in the strength of conference unity. Seeing the ACC lose 2/3 of their bowl games hurts their street cred. At the moment South Carolina has been the only dud of our conference. (anyone surprised though?) The Big 10 is a proven bust yet again this year, watching the Big 12 bite the dust after their pomp would be just as entertaining.

Remember, it's not GO 'DORES, HOTTY TODDY, GEAUX TIGAH'Z, ROLL TIDE, or GO GATORS...it's chanting "SEC, SEC, SEC..." in the face of other conferences. That's how I justify it, take it or leave it. However, I still bleed Red & Black and hate Urban Meyer as much as the next Dawg.

Florida on Upset Alert

I distinctly remember this commercial for Sportscenter last night with an intro something like...

"Up next, Steve Spurrier might have the Gators on upset alert. On Sportscenter, next!"

...yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt!

...OJ might be innocent.

...John Gruden might coach at Tennessee next year.

...popsicles might just mean popsicles.

...I might (be a vegetarian) and/or (start growing hair again). I couldn't decide which ball to run with so I went with both.

...these guys might ____________________ . (please feel free to come up with your own in the comment section. I'll get you started!)

The hockey post

I originally started this blog for college football and rock & roll. Now that hockey season is in full swing, I reserve the right to toss a hockey post in here every now and then. But first, a little background...

-I played rec league hockey when I was in highschool.

-I loved seeing the Atlanta Knights play when I was a kid even though the Omni was a TERRIBLE venue.

-I was a junior or senior when Atlanta got their pro franchise, the Thrashers.

-It's been a love/hate relationship ever since. Especially the last few years when we weren't competing up to our level of talent.

-I loved Bob Hartley and Don Waddell ranks right up there with Michael Adams in my book for firing him.

-I own the original style "throw-back" jersey the Thrashers stopped wearing...and I still like it best.

But on to last night, I received a few tickets most hockey fans only dream of getting. Thanks to a little business dealings we had VIP access to the arena from a guarded door in a parking deck, a luxury suite with all you can drink beer and all I could eat BBQ pork (it was Aramark grade BBQ, but I'll take it), and center ice seats right behind the penatly box.

This was my view for the initial puck-drop.

This was my view when Garnet Exelby beat the crap out of someone and got thrown into the penalty box.

And I got to meet Thrash.

I'm slated to receive a few more games with my contact and if you're a Thrashers fan with 2 extra GOOD UGA/Tech tickets I might consider the pioneer style barter system if you're feelin' foxy.

Halloween 2008

Last year, I went as Larry Munson.

This year, Mrs. Mackalicious and I went for more of a "couples" approach.

...yet as you can see, her face is the one blurred out. That one make sense to ya?

Picture with 0:51 left in the 4th.

This picture has not been altered, beating the Blackout really does that to your face.

My only satisfaction was gained by yelling "I HOPE YOU RUN OUT OF GAS!" at the Bama masses while we were leaving.

My Munson Tribute

My plan was to save this post until closer to Halloween given the context of the picture. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and post it because I really didn't do much to honor Larry's retirement announced earlier this week. It's not much but they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

All that aside, here you go.

Halloween 2007,

my costume,

one Mr. Lawrence Harry Munson.

Rumor has it Larry might be a "team captain" for the game Saturday. I doubt this will be the case because Larry is notoriusly modest. As far as honoring the legend of Larry Munson, if he is in fact standing at midfield for the coin toss, expect Sanford Stadium to fall down, the booths to come apart, now they will have to renovate that place...hmm...that sounds familiar. In other words, if you're lucky enough to be one of the 92K+ Saturday with a ticket, be ready to salute our 12th man in case honors are given.

...not to be confused with Arizona State's 12th man.

GO DAWGS!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Mackalicious

Today is "Sweetie's" birthday. She is a hot & sexy 28 years young. She is the queen of clean and makes a damn fine hashbrown casserole. Although she refuses to allow me to post pictures of how hot she is on my blog when referencing Alabama fans, I figured I could at least get away with this.

Here is the birthday girl at the Spanish Steps in Rome (not Georgia) from out last vacation. If you see a girl who looks like any the 38 women from this picture, stop her and say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" because chances are it's her!

Gameday pictures

Pictures from UGA/USC, WITH COMMENTARY!!1

This picture is very misleading, I don't recall those clouds being there.

The stadium was surprisingly loud, perhaps that's what you get when only the hometeam perceives this as a rivalry game.
There were a good number of Dawg-fans who made the trip, that and Rolaids spelled relief.
Stafford: Alright Chandler, this one's coming to you.
Stafford: It's alright Chandler, shake it off, you'll get this one, buddy!
Stafford: Chandler come on man! Soft hands, remember, soft hands!

Stafford: Guys, I don't think we should throw it to Tripp anymore...

UGA VII looking handsome.

UGA VII still looking handsome.

UGA VII doing his worst UGA VI impression and not biting or snapping at Harry Dawg.
